BIOGRAPHY OF KATRINA KAIF
Katrina was offered varied modelling assignments. Her beatific face, sharp features, hour-glass figure combined with peaches and rose complexion made her a hit in the ad world - LG, Cola, Fevicol, Lakme, & Veet. It was the Lakme commercial that got her noticed. Her linguistic shortcomings were seen as a setback in her film career. But she tried here best to learn Hindi. She got a chance to work in Telegu movies ‘Malliswari’ and ‘Pidugu’ and got noticed. She grossed Rs 70 lakhs for Malliswari, which made her one of the highest paid actresses during a South Indian movie debut.
She got decent reviews for her part in ‘Namastey London’, ‘Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya’, ‘Race’ and ‘Welcome’. Her latest film ‘Yuvvraaj’ with boyfriend Salman did not do well at the box office. Nevertheless, the actress remains the hottest and one of the best paid actress of Bollywood today. She was voted as the ‘Sexiest Woman’ by FHM magazine. Recently, an Asian weekly named her the ‘Sexiest Woman in Asia’.
