Rituparna Sengupta is an Indian actress. She was active in the arts since a young age, learning painting, dancing, singing and handicrafts at a painting school, called Chitrangshu, in childhood. Sengupta got married to her childhood sweetheart Sanjay Chakrabarty, founder and CEO of MobiApps on 13 December 1999 in Kolkata and the couple had a daughter in 14 July 2011.

Shatabdi Roy ( Bengali: শতাব্দী রায় ) is an actress in the Bengali language film industry of India. She won the Bengali Film Journalists' Award for best supporting actress for the film Debipaksha in 2005.[1][2]She was born on 5th October in Agarpara. Her parents are Shailen Roy and Nilima Roy. Shatabdi Roy passed her Madhyamik from ‘Sorojini High school’ in 1985 and later become a graduate from Jogomaya college.Shatabdi Roy made her appearance in the film called ‘Atanka’ directed by Tapan Sinha was released in 1986. Earlier she had worked in a film called ‘Tina’ directed by Dinen Gupta, but was never released. She acted in and directed a new science-fiction film Friend, released in 2009. When not working on a shoot, Shatabdi teaches acting at the Shatabdi Foundation or spends time with her son Samyoraj (Tozo) and husband Mrigank. In the April-May 2009 West Bengal MP Elections she has been given a ticket from the Trinamool Congress to fight the elections from the Birbhum district[3]

While Payal was on her first year of college, she was doing some telefilms by Sudeshna Roy and the Bengali actress Payal Sarkar's debut movie is 'Bibar'(2006) directed by Subrata Sen. She became popular through the bengali film 'I Love You' directed by Ravi Kinagi which is a romantic movie where she played the heroine role opposite to Dev. Payal's acting in 'I Love You' drew the attention of renowned filmmaker Anurag Basu. Anurag Basu offered her the role of Shruti in his TV Serial titled 'Love Story'. The rise in the career of Payal Sarkar took place when she performed on the role of Shruti and she became a household name after the TV Serial 'Love Story'. This was the first venture on TV Career of Payal Sarkar and after that she didn't need to look back. The journey of payal continued and she got succeded in each and every venture she took.
